SCHWEIZ vs. USA
Soccer Game
It all started with a SMS… ” Chunsch mit cho Schwiz – Öschtrich luege” and another SMS from me “Sorry cha ned, han scho abgmachtt” and “Und wie wärs met USA”
“Ok” und it was all clear… Luke and me are gonna rock in Basel.
On the way there, we had 2 bottles of Champagne… and in Basel “Chääschüechli us de Migros” and another drink and bought a shot for the first goal.
And than it started… boring boring boring. Those players were like shit. I mean… It was clear, that its not like when the Top Soccer Player are playing, but we expected more from Barnetta, Yakin, NKuno and and and….
No Goals in the first half… Mmmmh… we decided going for French Fries and a Kebab… And also the other half was not very interesting.. I almost felt asleep and I knew… we had our trainticket on the next day… gäääääähn! No really.. it wasn’t the football we know from Switzerland. Usually its interesting, good teamwork, and of course goals and some interesting corners. In the 86 minute took an USA player the chance and scored a goal . Zubi should have kept it.. Disapointed faces but we still believed on our team. They have to win – but … unfortunately they lost. They so fucking lost, you can’t imagine. Bad, worse, worst of the game.
Anyway, we both knew that the evening is not over yet. We rambled around Basel and were looking for the “Wandelbar” – and we finally found it. Okay… Be prepared for a Student Party – and they really looked like students. Actually the reason why we wanted to go there was Selina… Long time not seen – my girl from Australia – and she really was there – and she was just about to leave when we entered the “BAR” . What a pity, however Luke and me went there, ordered Ice Tea followed by a Gin Tonic. Waaaaaaaaaaahhhhhhh so strong… so Luke drank it for me… and I ordered a “Sirup” yeah.. why not a Sirup – and the Sirup was even good and even free, because nobody has ordered a Sirup at the Bar and so gave it to me for free.
Okay.. after long stories from “Luke and Girls” he had a funny discussion with a History Student. So much fun, and he probably will never forget this conversation in his life, because our little Gian, didn’t know what to answer on the questions of Luke. It was so fun, that he finally said FUCK YOU and wanted to go.
So, at arround 3 a.m. we started sightseeing in Basel. We found the Marktplatz and the St. Petersplatz, few shopping streets and the Tinguely Fountain. And before we went to the train we looked for a SELECTA and bought gummy mushrooms and a CapriSonne – All fine… It s a precondition that I could sleep in the train to Brugg…and Turgi. 6. A.M. at home… slept till 10 .. went to the dentist – still drunk or didn’t feel well at all – phonecall to the office – a lot of work – so I was working the afternoon … GÄÄÄHN…
Finish. tired again after writing about this long night 🙂
