What we’ve learned in Australia…
-Ayer’s rock is in fact a “mountain”
-Goon is sick, but somehow we drank bags of it!!
-Goon bags can be made into pillows. And used during Fraser Island.
-COLLABAH means something to you.
-You or someone you know have fallen off the table at Cheeky Monkeys!!
-Nimbin is like a distent haze or dream. Although, you do remember that wacked out “weed museum”
-Vegemite was possibly used once and then never again.
-Peanut Butter and Nutella become your life and you ate it with everything!!
-You remember the Mccafe??
-“Oi, You Happy?, How you going? Eazy Mate and Cheers” became part of your daily slang.
-You swam in the Airlie Beach pool when drunk, even AFTER the warning against it and the warning was NOT for drunk swimming but for….!! ewww haha
-“Clancy’s famous for pies” means something to you.
-You miss 24Hour liquor stores.
-Wore thongs, broke a thong and knew what a thong was.
-Took the Ferry to Manly
-Met more Irish friends then Australian. And then settled in with the fact that you were in “Ireland” lol
-Became comfortable with the mullet hairstyle.
-Also became used to leggings, and belts strapped in uder the boobs.
-Drove a wicked van or campervan around the coast.
-Went on a crazy outback tour, spent the days on 7 hour hikes and the nights getting “shitfaced”.
-Was familiar with the Elephant and Wheelbarrow in Melbourne.
-Remember “Home and Away”, and went to the Beach just outside Sydney.
-Remember the Woolshed in Cairns…yah prob not haha
-Snorkeling or diving the Great Barrier.
-Lake McKenzie, Champaigne Pools, Tiger Sharks and Dingo’s on Fraser Island.
-Sailing the Whitsundays, Possibly getting sick from the sailing.
-Sunset at Byron Bay.
-Surfing, Trying to Surf, getting worked.
