Bangkok – still my favourite city
After a relaxing week in Phuket we flew into Bangkok on the 5th February. Already at the first day we went to JJ Market, where we spent the whole day shopping. It is still astonishing how many shops are at this place, and what you can buy there… its like from shoes, clothes, carpets, grocery, fish, dogs, toothbrush-holder… everything. Anyway, I didn buy too much because I know the next day we are going to MBK. my favourite shopping center in the whole world. What a coincidence – it was my birthday on the 7th of February and we went shopping, that means I can buy myself a lot of presents. horray.. 🙂 although I was a bit disappointed at the beginning I found later that day some nice bargains.
I am so proud of for example our iphone holder speaker … this sound is so brilliant that we made party in our hotelroom later that day.In the evening we went to Bayoke Tower with Sam (Friend of Wischiro) and I also met Gam ( I met her in Australia five years ago) However, the good was quite good and a lot, and the view over city was exhilarating. It is the biggest building in Thailand and I reckon a the moment the 29th biggest building in the world.
So the food was good by then, unfortunately the next day all of us didnt feel very comforatble in our belly. We must have eaten something wrong :/
The next day we made a break of shopping and went to the temple – Royal Palace and the biggest lying Buddha. It was veery hot and we were all very lazy that we rather wanted to get home and having a nice lunch-dinner in MBK -again.
The last day we went to Panttip Plaza and the 1001 shops buliding. again shopping shopping shopping – and for the last 30minutes we went to MBK (again) to buy our bargain ED HARDY Iphone case for 100 baht. haha.
Ah… and I forgot -we also went to Kao San Road. still one heart one soul. I love the backpacker street. everybody eating, and drinking on the street. and i had the best massage ever and this only for 180 baht (not even 6 CHF)
okay byebye bangkok – i will be here at least in the next 3 years.
