Palawan – the paradise of the Philippines

With Cathay Pacific i booked a flight via Hongkong to Cebu for not even 800 CHF. So i thought to myself I go the more expensive way now to El Nido.

With AirSwift you get a flight for 7000 pesos directly to ElNido. The advantages are easy:
+ only 1,5hour more on the plane and you reach paradise
+ you will be treated as a VIP guest (personal guide at the airport, snack at gate)
+ red carpet when arriving at the destination.

The other option is of course go to Puerto Princessa (usually for a much lower rate) and take an uncomfy van for 5-7 hours for another 500 pesos.

So it was absolutey worth it flying directly. Especially now its so much easier for booking, since there is an online booking website on airswift.

What to do in ElNido:

-Tours! Go on Tours! I personally recommend Tour C, since it has not as many boats as in Tour A and the places are fantastic. Also the food is really nice prepared and made with love. Snorkelling was not sooooo cool, but the rest totally worth it.

-Go to Napcan Beach. Either by Tricycle or by Motorbike. It counts to the world best Beaches and it really is.

-Sunset in Las Cabañas. Wow – just beautiful. If you are bored you can also go Ziplining.

-Experience the Nightlife. Coco Bar and Pukka Bar… or just buy a Rum and Coke and drink on the Beach or on the Rooftop of a Hostel. Please remember, RumCoke is as cheap as the Beer 😉
