Few hours in NYC

Our holidays started with a little delay. The United Flight to EWR (Newark) was two hours late. The consequences was the missing connection flight to SFO and HNL. When we realized we had to spent the night in New York our tiredness converted in to excitement. Few minutes after we checked in to our paid hotel in the Newark airport area we jumped in a cab and brought us in the middle of BigApple.

Rambling through fifth avenue, eating burgers, shopping in the big apple store – we did it all in only few hours. Jet lag overcame us, and we were happy to be in bed after this very long day. All in all, there are certainly worse places for a stopover than NYC.
