Rockclimbing in Boquete

Boquete was quite a way from Bocas del Toro. It got a bit colder and there is a lot of forest around this little village. We were very excited about Boquete, because once again we didnt read so much about it, nor have planned anything.

Right at the beginning we found this place: explora ya, who offers different tours. They offer so much, it was a hard desicion what to pick! 🙂

Felipe and Barbara went the first morning for a hike, Fabiola and me decided us for Rock climbing.
With our privat guide Cesar we drove with the taxi to ths climbing wall. It didnt look too easy. But let’s try 🙂

I went for 4 routes in total. It was very exhausting but so much fun. You need a lot of energy in the fingers, arms, shoulders… Well actually in the whole body. Fortunately Cesar helped us a lot where to step next with our hands and feet. He is one of the best climber in the world and the first climber in Panama! Interesting stories from our private guide. After 2 hours climbing, and not really breaks we went back. It was an amazing experience, and i am sure this was nit my last rock wall in my life.
