Day 8) washing day

7 AM surfing at Medewi Point. it was supposed to be a good surfing day with a big swell. a lot of people brought their cameras to take pictures.

going to the lineup was already exhausting and took a lot of energy. washing washing washing…
especially me with the big board no chance to duck dive, only get washed over and over again. i think it was also not the best idea to enter at this point.

anyway, i had one-two good and bigger waves, afterwards i decided to quit for this morning session and join the watching session with the others from the camp.
the swell was reeaaaalllyyy big and the waves not that easy to catch.
afterwards we had a nice breakfast (mii goreng) and later a good afternoon sleep.

at 4 PM we gave it another shot and tried our best at diva beachbreak. a lot of close outs hard to catch the good ones.

suddenly a big storm appeared … it was pourring, lightnings etc. looovdely. i love tropical storms. of course we had to go out of the ocean but still a nice atmosphere

Dinner was too spicy.
