Day 6) snorkelling and surfing
Lets call it active holidays… Bali is too great to just relax and chill! It is much more out there to explore and see…
In the morning we went snorkelling at two points. The first spot was very colourful and we saw smaller and bigger fishes and an invasion of eels.
The second spot was also very nice as it was quite shalow. We saw also some kinda aliens on the ground which call themselves “marine walkers”
After the snorkelling we madr an appointment with the other swiss couple we met at the tour to go surfing later in the afternoon.
Again, instead of relaxing we went to the tourist office to book the speed boat for the next day. We ate a small salad, waxed our boards and ready for surfing…
We wanted to check out the “playground spot” it is recommended for beginners. Well let’s see…
It was not quite what we have expected… No sand, not that deep, only pro surfers and later barrels.
I didnt try for a long time and relaxed on the floating wood resting place. Wischiro and Reiner tried their best… Suddenly Rainer s surfboard was floating on the ocean but where is he?
We asked our driver to look for him as we were frightened and expected the worst… Luckily he ‘just’ lost his board because the leash broke. (rented crappy board)very relieved, they kept paddeling and get washed and me talking to an aussie surfing family…
In the evening we had yammie dinner
