Leme Beach & Sugar Loaf

Our first mission of today was toget an accomodation for the next few days, as well as a busticket. Not as easy as it sounds.
Hostels in ilha grande are completely booked out. And also the busterminal looked a bit shady until we found out it is not the right bus station! Anyway, we finally got a busticket but still no hotel for tomorrow night. We’ll see…

The next stop was copacabana! We walked all the way to Leme beach. We watched the surfers and fight against the waves.

At around 4 PM we decided to give another try at the sugar loaf (zuckerberg, or better zuckerhut) as soon as we reached the first mountain it started to rain – not only a little bit! Suddenly also the ‘christo’ dissapeared! What a pity 🙁 we waited and waited …
After a while we decided to take the cabke car to the top and it also stopped raining! Luckily. We were able to take some pictures…we had to go back because little mila was soooo hungry (no food for 9 hours) the bus brought us directly to the hotel, where we had a yammie dinner > pepper steak with rice and french fries for 2 people.

Last thing to mention for today. We went to the gym :p
