Battambang
Looks like a rather small town, in fact the second or third biggest city in Cambodia. 300-000 inhabitants and not really popular four tourists.
so we arrived after a long bus ride and just founded a decent hotel for 10 dollars the room. we had a lovely lunch for a couple of dollars and afterwards we headed to the main attraction in Battambang. It is called the bamboo train.
basically it is just 4 wheels and a wooden board on it with a motor. this thing is speeding with approx. 40 kmh trough the counryside of Cambodia. it was very adventurous and beautiful to see those small villages. we also met a family who are producing bricks which was very interesting and no machines at all.
In the evening we had a BBQ Buffet with Nila s Family and some other Cambodians, which are supposed to be Wischiros Cou cou cou cousin or something.
Afterwards we finally met Wischiro s aunt. It was very funny to see whats going on although I didnt understand anything. But the aunt is like the mother of Wischiro, thats why it was even more funny. She was laughing like her… haha. We were invited to her #house#. it was a very basic house. they have a shop who are selling motorbike stickers. we almost didnt fit in their living room everything was so narrow but it was very authentic and thats what makes it special and interesting. however, we were quite tired afterwards and we had to sleep, otherwhise we wont be ready the next day at SEVEN A.M. for the journey to Phnom Penh.
