Santiago de Chile

Holà a todos,

We have already left Argentina – we really had a wonderful time also in Mendoza – the Wineparadise of South America. We did a Bike -Winery Tour – 12 Wineries including Museums, Chocolates and Liquoers. Pictures gonna say everything.

However, on Wednesday we had our trip from Mendoza to Santiago de Chile. We had a super modern bus, which was so comfortable and though it would be easy 6, 7 hours ride to Chile. Unfortunately we didnt know that the Custom is a bit complicated down here.
After we stayed in front of the custom in the bus for like 1,5 hours, another hour AT the custom to get this fcking stamp and finally they checked each Backpack if we had apples, salami, honey or anything else with us. It took ages – luckily Nina could smuggle her Honey-with-wine-thing over to Chile and we didnt get troubles.
We arrived in the evening at 9 in Santiago de Chile. Our hostel is awesome. 4-female-dorm, but we were the only one in the room, the bed so cozy, the bathroom clean and the stuff friendly.

Today we did a bit of Sightseeing. In my opinion Santiago is a very clean, modern, rather European or American Standard, quite expensive, and more trendy than Argentina.
Yeah we even found something to shop 🙂 nooo i don’t tell what ^^
Oh and we went to KFC, Dunkin’ Donuts and I feel so full and fat, that I went for a jog afterwards, haha! Tomorrow we check out Valparaiso and Vina del Mar.

At the weekend we are heading up north to La Serena.

You will hear from me soon.
