Fotbul in Argentina
Here is my fotbul blog.
Last saturday we went to this huge event. Qualification for the World Championship in South America.
Argentina is playing versus Peru. As the Argentinian are a huge fan of Fotbul and so proud of their team it was a huge event.
Furthermore they have to win this game, otherwhise Maradona will be fired and Argentina is definitely out and can’t go to South Africa.
We bought the tickets for 270 pesos (around 100 CHF) but this was really worth it.
We were picked up at the school and we drove into a nice park where we had lunch together.
Mr. Christiano Ronaldo (he really looked like him – just a bit smaller ) and his friend who s also called Christian brought us to the Stadium.
We splitted ’cause some were on the standing sector and we were on the sitting sector.
After we have managed to find the right entrance we cheated like hell, so we were able to get in within 20minutes. Usually you have to queue for 2-3 hours.
The Stadium was huuuge – I think i have never seen something like this. And it was almost full – the game can begin…
In the beginning there was not much spectacular things happening in the game. The fans were not that loud as I expected.
1:0 for Argentina in the Break. Good Luck!!!
In the second half everything changed a bit.. Messi just made Fouls… Peru got good chances and it begun to rain.
The more it was raining the atmosphere got better and we can feel the Argentinian heart pumping for their team.
It was raining like hell… even “hagel”! we got wet until our underwear… Haven’t experienced such a rain for a looong time.
And now, everybody was singing and jumping. Some were also freezing like hell and couldnt see anything because of the hard rain.
So thats why I missed the goal for Peru. (typisch) Anyway… there was no clock at the screen and I though the game was almost over.
Singing, dancing and jumping… to get along with the atmosphere and try not to freeze.
OLE OLE OLA…. OLE OLE OLA – ARGENTINA 🙂 Another goal scored by Palermo.
Luckily they got this 2:1 from this game – It was really crazy at the end!
So we went back to the bus and the ground was flooded – there were only lakes at the streets, so as also in our shoes. 🙂
