Death Valley, Las Vegas, Grand Canyon

Hi there,

Eventually a Hotel with Internet again…
We are still fine in the States. We crossed Death Valley, which was extremely hot (arround 45 degrees). How mean, ey?
Beautiful landscape… from Sand dunes to colourful rocks and Desert. I really expected something else.

So, anyway.. after the Death Valley we got to Las Vegas. Uhuuuuu…. Our Hotel was a bit out of town but it looked like a golden Palace. Awesome. At night we went to the Las Vegas Blvd by car and saw so many things, which I just can-t describe in a short email. Huge Hotels, awesome rollercoaster, 1 dollar Margaritha, cheap sunnglasses, 1 dollar meal food, freaky people and of course this great amount of Casinos. We used everything what Las Vegas not the famous Wedding Chapels though.. haha. Its really a lovely city and every hotel its made with so much love and good tense of architecure.
Ah and in the casinos we certainly just won. (And it was no problem because of my age – I didn-t even have to show my ID once).

After 2 days Las Vegas we unfortunately have to leave and go further. Next stop was Flagstaff where we had another lovely hotel. It got a big colder though and we didn-t even could use the swimming pool. However, we had a yammie dinner at a steakhouse (with a handsome waiter..haha)

Today was a long day. In the morning we got up a bit to late.. (just because of the lazy guys of course) Than we cruised to the Grand Canyon Natiuonal Park where we walked some trails, drove with this shuttle bus … and of course we saw the big canyon with the colerado river.

After that we drove arround 500 miles more to Yuma, still Arizonas and we arrived at 9 in the evening. We just had a subway sandwich (mila was crying since the beginning of the trip about the subway) ….

Tmrw, we re gonna have a morning swim in the pool (its 40 degrees again, also at night) and than we re gonna continue our trip in direction San Diego and Tijuana.
